Lisa Marie Glover
Cough… splutter!
Wednesday, 16th May, 2012I was meant to be playing at the Plough Acoustic Club tonight but unfortunately my voice has been replaced with a pathetic croak! I hope to reschedule and play there soon!

Wednesday, 9th May, 2012Well well well, it’s time for another Lisa update so here goes… I’ll be playing at The Grove in Leeds tomorrow night with Sam Widdop (10 May). It’s our first time at the Grove and we’re really looking forward to it.
On Saturday we’ll be whizzing off in my hire car to Astle Park in Cheshire where we’ll be appearing at You’ve Been Nabbed 21 Rally. It’s an event put on by the NABD; a charity who support disabled bikers. I first went to an NABD Rally with my Dad at the tender age of 12 and it was great! This charity is close to my heart as my own Dad was a disabled biker before his knackered-heart related death in 1996. You’ll find the best people there and I can’t wait!
On Saturday I’ll be singing and stringing at a wedding in Marsden with The Random Revue… YES, THAT’S RIGHT, you can book me to play at your wedding or event and I can turn up by myself, with The Random Revue or with Sam or any other ensemble you can think of. So why not get in touch via my Links & Contacts page! XXX

Sunday, 8th April, 2012It’s been a very busy week for me. I was in the studio with the splendid Scott Anthony Wainwright on Monday recording some backing vocals on his new album. I then spent Friday recording more vocals on a new album by my good friend Teaspoon.
Well the cherry on top of this week’s pudding is the release of my song ‘Honey’ which you can download for a modest 50pence from my bandcamp page: http://lisamarieglover.bandcamp.com/
It was recorded during a live session at Loom Studio in Birstall and features Sam Widdop on guitar.
